TripDelivers Ignites New Delivery Evolution With Disruptive Business Model Restaurant Owners Can’t Ignore

Atlanta, GA – TripDelivers is a new company in the exploding restaurant delivery industry competing with billion dollar corporate giants such as UberEats, GrubHub and DoorDash.

According to a Forbes article in 2019, the restaurant delivery space was projected to grow to $200 Billion by 2025, but the pandemic has accelerated that projection as delivery is now growing at an astonishing rate.

But, as fast as the delivery sector is growing, it is not all good news for restaurants. GrubHub, UberEats and DoorDash control about 80% of the delivery market, but they charge high commission to restaurants to use their platform and deliver the food. In fact, most restaurants are paying between 20-40% of the order total to these companies.

Many other delivery companies have started up to try and take a share of the expanding market, especially smaller local companies who work regionally to get market share. However, they are all following the same business model and it is one that leaves restaurant owners unhappy.

TripDelivers has a different business model where they offer their software to customers, drivers and restaurants to use and don’t charge commissions on the orders. In fact, member restaurants using the TripDelivers platform can get any order delivered regardless of the price of the order for just $2. This is a huge difference from the average $12 fee on a $40 order that the current third-party delivery companies charge.

TripDelivers founder, Robert McNulty was unhappy about the amount of commission as well as hidden fees that restaurants and consumers were paying to get the food delivered and saw an opportunity to disrupt the industry with a completely different business model

Not known to many consumers, but third party delivery companies often mark up the menu prices to make more profit for themselves. They squeeze the restaurants with high commissions and squeeze the drivers by taking a portion of the delivery fees and then increase the price on the menu so consumers pay more than what the restaurant advertises on their website menu.

McNulty realizes that restaurants are struggling. Over 110,000 have already shut down due to the pandemic regulations. He also realizes that consumers don’t want to pay more for delivery so corporate giants can line their pockets. Finally, with the gig economy exploding as more and more people are out of work and looking for full or part time work, he wanted to make sure that drivers earn a fair income with 100% of the delivery fee and tips going to the drivers.

TripDelivers has launched in Nashville, TN and will be launching next in South Florida cities of Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando as well as Atlanta, GA thanks to a deal with Restaurant Manager who have 20,000 restaurants in their organization that are eager to make the switch to cheaper delivery for their clients.

TripDelivers is attracting much attention from big players in the restaurant delivery space with the new concept Cloud Kitchens eager to use their services for their delivery only establishments.

TripDelivers is looking to partner with restaurants in the above-mentioned markets to sign on and join the TripDelivers family of restaurants. Individually owned restaurants to franchise chains can all save money on delivery services with TripDelivers.

The company is also looking for thousands of drivers to join the delivery evolution in Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Nashville.
