Little Whale Inc. Develops a New App Named FEELU™ that Helps Improve Children’s Mental Health

October 08 01:39 2021
The app helps children acknowledge their feelings and handle them in a healthy manner.

Feelu is a multi-award-winning kids’ app offering a fun adventure that can improvechildren’s mental health. Now available on the App Store, Feelu focuses on feelings, mindfulness and kindness of children.

“Feelu can improve the social-emotional development and skills of young children,” stated a company representative.

Feelu has three main sections, which the creators call worlds: Feelings, Mindfulness and Kindness. These are the three essentials in improving kids’ mental health.

The Feelings World visually communicates 10 various color-coded emotions andexplores them through stories, examples, games and more. It also suggests different strategies to handle difficult feelings and can be used to track daily emotions. The Mindfulness World includes five-breath guided meditation and encourages being grateful. The Kindness World promotes kindness, compassion and empathy. It also suggests three simple steps to react to bullying safely.

Feelu aims to spread love, kindness and happiness by promoting the mental health of all children, including those with autism and special needs. The creators believe that talking about different feelings and encouraging children to be mindful, kind and grateful helps them to be mentally healthier. Feelu, however, is not a replacement for professional therapy or advice.

Feelu is designed by Little Whale Inc. The app is accompanied by a children’s book, “Feelu: Explore Your Feelings,” which is an Amazon bestseller.
