Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information Celebrates Its 60th Anniversary with “#I_Am_the_Future” Project

June 20^th, 2022 – Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (President Jae-soo Kim, hereafter referred to as KISTI), is celebrating its 60th anniversary by hosting the “#I_Am_the_Future” project, an audition for future science and technology ideas from June 20, 2022. This “#I_Am_the_Future” project aims to lay the groundwork for the 100th anniversary of KISTI by discovering the challenging research topics that will change the world. The first audition for the project, titled “My Diary of the Future,” is held from June 20 to July 18 for children and teenagers. Contestants can participate by submitting the application form of ‘Drawing diary of the Future’ through the audition website (www.iamthefuture.kr).

“The ‘#I_Am_the_Future’ project is going to be an exciting celebration of the KISTI 60^th anniversary,” said a spokesperson for KISTI. “We hope that this project enables the harmonious future through science and technology seen by chilldren.”

The submitted works for the “#I_Am_the_Future” project will be voted online, and Ten most creative and futuristic works will be selected. After that, the second shape-up round of selected ideas is continued. Finally, this project has a plan to launch a long-term actual research, so that realize children’s dreaming future.
