NASHVILLE, Tenn. – June 9, 2026 – ONNIX Global Inc., a medical technology company focused on advancing catheter care through science-driven innovation, today announced the appointment of Naomi P. O’Grady, M.D., as Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. O’Grady is internationally recognized as one of the foremost authorities in the prevention of vascular catheter-related complications. A distinguished infectious disease physician, intensivist, and physician-scientist, she brings deep expertise in clinical trials, translational research, and FDA regulatory policy to ONNIX.

“Dr. O’Grady’s leadership and scientific contributions have helped shape modern standards for vascular access and infection prevention worldwide,” said Jared Navarre, Chief Executive Officer of ONNIX. “Her experience at the intersection of clinical care, evidence-based medicine, and regulatory strategy makes her uniquely qualified to help guide ONNIX through its next phase of clinical development and commercialization.”

Dr. O’Grady authored pivotal research and a seminal review on the prevention of catheter-related bloodstream infections published in the New England Journal of Medicine. She also served as lead author of the CDC’s 2002 and 2011 Guidelines for the Prevention of Intravascular Catheter-Related Infections — landmark publications that continue to define clinical practice across healthcare systems globally.

As the former Medical Director of the vascular access device service at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center, Dr. O’Grady combines extensive frontline clinical experience with decades of scientific leadership. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to advancing evidence-based infection prevention strategies and supporting technologies designed to reduce provider variability and improve patient safety.

In her role as Chief Medical Officer, Dr. O’Grady will provide strategic clinical leadership across ONNIX’s research initiatives, regulatory pathway, and commercialization efforts as the company advances its innovative catheter lock-flush technology.

“ONNIX is developing technology designed to address one of healthcare’s most persistent and costly clinical challenges,” said Dr. O’Grady. “I’m excited to join the company at such an important stage and help support the advancement of solutions that have the potential to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes across healthcare settings.”

Dr. O’Grady previously served as Chair of the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Critical Care Medicine Specialty Board and held positions on both the ABIM Council and Board of Directors.
