Dubel Prize Launches at The Royal Exchange Art Prize for Emerging Artists

October 3, 2023 – The Royal Exchange The prestigious Dubel Prize made its splendid debut at The Royal Exchange, captivating a distinguished audience of 400 guests. The event marked the beginning of an exciting journey for emerging artists seeking recognition and acclaim. 

The evening commenced with a warm welcome, complemented by champagne and culinary delights from Fortnum and Mason. High on Heels, a talented ensemble, set the tone with a captivating performance, immersing the audience in an atmosphere of artistic excitement.

Guests had the privilege to appreciate the impressive artworks of the 12 shortlisted finalists, setting the stage for an evening filled with anticipation and celebration. Richard Utting from Centre Point, the esteemed charity partner, and Julian Usher, CEO of Red Eight Gallery, delivered inspiring speeches, highlighting the importance of supporting emerging artists and their invaluable contributions to the art world.

The night’s highlight came with Damian Alexander Dubel, the founder of the Dubel Prize, expressing heartfelt gratitude to his dedicated team, partners, and gracious guests. The festivities continued with a lively performance by The Big Pink, followed by an exhilarating DJ set that had the audience on their feet, dancing the night away. The celebration extended to The Libertine for an unforgettable after-party featuring delightful cuisine and crafted cocktails.
