Mangrove, the Jamaican/Caribbean themed downtown Miami restaurant created by the makers of Jrk!, has announced the debut of two new events to its weekly lineup of scheduled offerings. Now, guests can visit Mangrove for Sunday Brunch from 12pm-5pm and Wednesday evenings for Reggae Night.
Mangrove launched with great success earlier this year, bringing an exciting new bar, restaurant, and lounge concept to the downtown Miami scene. Downtown Miami is home to an eclectic blend of unique restaurants, cafes, and lounges, but Mangrove brings something completely different to the area. The atmosphere upon entering Mangrove is best described as moody, evocative, and lush with greenery, intertwining modern and vintage themes. Casual, relaxed, but dotted with opportunities for formal moments and selfies, Mangrove is sophisticated and inviting. Mangrove’s menu includes a selection of Jamaican-inspired staples including griot, curry oxtail, whole jerk chicken, the jerk fried chicken sandwich, rosé salmon, coconut rice & peas, crispy yuca, and more.
Mangrove has received a long list of reviews from guests who’ve experienced this eatery for themselves. One recent guest said, “The atmosphere transports you to a living room in Jamaica with its comfy couches and rattan chairs and beautiful art. The owners who were very gracious and welcoming, paid attention to every detail from the greenery to the light fixtures. The food is authentic, upscale and delicious! We ordered a bit of everything and it was worth it.”
Now, Mangrove is adding new options to its lineup. Guests can already enjoy Happy Hour on Wednesdays from 5-8pm, but now they can also come experience Sunday Brunch from 12pm-5pm every Sunday. On Wednesday evenings, patrons can visit Mangrove for Reggae Night for Caribbean flavors and drinks set against the backdrop of an authentic atmosphere and Jamaican music.
Mangrove is excited to welcome locals and visitors for its special programming along with its daily offerings. Mangrove is open for dinner Wednesday-Saturday 6pm-10pm; the bar and lounge are open Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday 6pm-1am and Friday-Saturday 6pm-3am.
